吹き寄せ ････ 母に勧められたけど
風が吹いていろんな木の葉が
一箇所に集まったの、
母さんが「便利やよ！」って
かも知れんけど、
柄自体は好きやったけど地味、 着ても何か･･･ぱっとせん、
そんなんでこれ、あんまり好きやなかった。
確かに使いまわしのええ着物、帯は何でも合ったやろぉけど、
かれこれ、25年は経ってます。 今は丁度ええ。
でも、住んでる場所が場所だけに･･････暑くって着れないのね、
あの頃の着物を好きになる条件は、『重い』がキーワード
例えば 福井県の 「鬼シボ縮緬」みたいな、重しっかりした反物。
今は、軽くってしっかりして、洗濯が出来て・・・・・
やっぱり住んでる条件が変わってくると、いろいろと変わってくるねぇ、。
まだ、数回しか袖を通してないの、
これから・・・・・・・この着物着ること、あるんやろか、

The Four Seasons
This Kimonos pattern is a classic Japanese design. This is called Hukiyose. It means when a wind comes into a corner it holds many different things; leaves, blossoms, pine needles and more. Thus the design has a scattering of these symbols all over it, with a solid background color. this Kimono can be worn in every season. because they are all represented here. The four symbols are the cherry blossom for spring, the folding fan for summer, the Japanese maple leaf for autumn and fallen pine needles for winter.
I bought this Kimono when I received my first pay cheque, from the accounting office I worked at. twenty five years ago. I chose this from many other Kimono in a large shop in Kyoto. I returned home penniless but happy. knowing I would have to live on cut lunches for the next two weeks.
The design is very old world, which is what I preferred when I was younger. It was too young for my mother to wear and I never found the opportunity to wear it when I was young. It sits and waits unworn for who knows who, maybe a future daughter in-law.
